Synopsis:

In the aftermath of a devastating viral outbreak that crippled Japan in 2029, the nation remains under the firm control of the United Nations' GHQ. A decade of imposed order has stifled any semblance of autonomy, fostering resentment and underground resistance. The Funeral Parlor, a militant group striving for liberation, seeks to exploit a powerful artifact – the Void Genome – to achieve its aims.

When this artifact inadvertently falls into the hands of Inori Yuzuriha, a popular internet vocalist, she becomes a target for the GHQ's relentless Anti-Bodies division. Seeking refuge, Inori encounters Shuu Ouma, an unassuming high school student whose life is irrevocably altered when he unwittingly absorbs the Void Genome's power, gaining extraordinary abilities. Thrust into the heart of a nationwide struggle, Shuu must navigate his newfound power while confronting the ethical complexities of rebellion and fighting for Japan’s future. The series explores themes of societal control, individual agency, and the burden of responsibility in a world grappling with profound loss.
