Synopsis:
Following a decisive victory that unified Japan under Toyotomi rule, a subtle power shift begins. Haunted by an encounter with a malevolent spirit named Yasha, Tokugawa Ieyasu is presented with an alternative history – one where he emerged victorious. Consumed by this possibility, Tokugawa embraces Yasha's dark influence, threatening the established order and the life of Princess Kaguya, whose lineage anchors reality. Against this backdrop, Musashi Miyamoto emerges as a defiant force. A young swordsman who blends traditional kenjutsu with innovative firearm techniques, Musashi must confront Tokugawa’s growing tyranny. The series explores themes of destiny versus free will, and the consequences of altering the past in a world poised between tradition and modernization. It offers a glimpse into a Japan grappling with its newfound stability and the unsettling emergence of hidden forces.
