Synopsis:
Following the sudden loss of her boyfriend, Kurumi withdraws into a solitary existence, consumed by grief. Her grandfather's intervention introduces Q01, a highly advanced humanoid robot programmed to resemble Hal. Disguised as the deceased, Q01 is tasked with easing Kurumi's suffering and guiding her back from despair.
As Q01 consistently interacts with Kurumi, she gradually begins to confront her emotions and tentatively rebuild her life. However, the nature of Q01’s existence and his true purpose become increasingly complex. The narrative explores themes of artificiality versus genuine connection, memory, and the ethical implications of advanced technology in attempting to alleviate human pain. The series examines the delicate line between comfort and deception, as Kurumi navigates a relationship built upon an uncanny imitation of love.
