Synopsis:

A century after the original narrative, *Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 2* unfolds in Kyou, a city echoing the grandeur of Heian-era Kyoto. The fragile peace is shattered by a succession crisis between the current and former emperors, plunging the populace into widespread anxiety and apocalyptic dread. Karin, unexpectedly transported to this turbulent era by the legendary White Dragon, finds herself thrust into the role of its new priestess. Tasked with defending Kyou against encroaching darkness, she relies on the support of her appointed guardians as she navigates political intrigue and supernatural threats. Interspersed with these challenges are recurring, disorienting visions of a figure from the past, hinting at a deeper connection to the unfolding events and the city's troubled destiny. The series explores themes of faith, responsibility, and the weight of history in a fantastical setting.
