Synopsis:

In the aftermath of a seemingly insignificant terrorist attack in Japan, normalcy prevails. However, for college student Saki Morimi, a chance encounter in America unveils a world far from ordinary. She rescues Akira Takizawa, a man with amnesia, a peculiar cell phone containing an enormous digital fortune, and a haunting belief he’s a terrorist. As Saki navigates her growing connection with Akira, she becomes entangled in a complex game involving the phone's wealth and fragmented memories.

*Higashi no Eden* explores themes of identity and consequence within a suspenseful narrative. The series follows Saki's efforts to understand Akira's past while he confronts shadowy figures also wielding similar devices. The story unfolds with an emphasis on mystery and intrigue, hinting at a larger conflict tied to the initial attack and the true nature of the digital wealth at its core.
