Synopsis:
Six months after a pivotal event involving the survival of Japan, Saki Morimi finds herself embarking on a quest to locate Akira Takizawa, a man who vanished after requesting a singular, enigmatic title. Armed with only his mobile phone and a cryptic message hinting at their shared past, she follows rumors that lead her to New York City.
Her search is complicated by the emergence of other parties, notably remnants of a group known as the Seleção, motivated by varying agendas for Japan's future. Some seek to aid Akira in realizing his ambitions, while others view him as an obstacle to be eliminated. As Saki delves deeper into the mystery surrounding Akira’s disappearance, she uncovers layers of political intrigue and personal history intertwined with her own, forcing her to confront difficult choices amidst escalating global tensions. The pursuit of answers becomes a race against time, revealing hidden truths about power, sacrifice, and the true meaning of leadership.
