Synopsis:
In the summer of 1983, the isolated village of Hinamizawa finds itself under strict quarantine following the emergence of a strange and virulent affliction. Teenager Keiichi Maebara, along with his childhood acquaintances Mion Sonozaki and Rena Ryuuguu, are caught in the unsettling atmosphere of fear and uncertainty that grips their community. As villagers grapple with the mysterious illness and seek solutions, escalating tensions reveal hidden depths within their relationships and long-held secrets. Keiichi and his friends find themselves increasingly desperate to escape Hinamizawa’s confines, but their attempts at freedom are met with unforeseen challenges.
