Synopsis:

Hikaru Shindou’s life takes an unexpected turn when an antique go board connects him with Fujiwara no Sai, a spirit from the Heian period. Bound to the board by his enduring love for the game, Sai seeks to achieve a legendary level of mastery through Hikaru, guiding his moves in a timeless pursuit. Though initially uninterested in go, Hikaru finds himself drawn into this ancient world as he navigates matches and learns from his experiences. The arrival of Akira Touya, a skilled young player, sparks a competitive spirit within Hikaru, fostering a burgeoning passion for the game.
