Synopsis:
Takaya Ougi's ordinary life is irrevocably altered by the arrival of Nobutsuna Naoe, who reveals Takaya’s destiny as the reincarnation of the legendary Lord Kagetora. Thrust into a hidden world of spirits and ancient conflicts, Takaya begins training to become an exorcist under Naoe’s tutelage. Unlike other reincarnated possessors, Takaya has no memories of his past life, a fact that both troubles and advantages Naoe, burdened by a complicated history with Kagetora. As Takaya’s powers develop, fragmented recollections surface – glimpses of Naoe's actions driven by devotion. This burgeoning awareness coincides with escalating threats from powerful clans within the spectral realm who seek to breach the barrier between worlds, pulling the delicate balance between the living and the dead towards chaos. The series explores themes of identity, legacy, and the complexities of loyalty in a world where past lives and present duties collide.
