A Brief review of this awesome anime. i watched this anime several times and now i'm willing to give it a deserved review. First of all, Story: it's a sport anime, so anyway shouldn't expect a mind-blowing story of some sort. Danpei Ichigeki, a red-flame-haired 12 years old boy who inherited from his dead father the love and talent of Dodgeball game. he dreaming to become the biggest star of the Dodgeball sport. with the help and support of his mother and friends. (6/10) Art: The Anime aired in the early 90's, but the art, drawing and animations all looks so 80's. and i'm completely loving it. how thecity, skies, beach, stadiums drawn are all so beautiful and giving the right view. i watched many 70's, 80's and 90's anime, i do admit the love the style of these eras more than the modern ones.n(10/10)nnSound/Music:nif something made me in lust of this anime is the BGM of it. no seriously, it has one of best anime soundtracks i ever heard (followed by G Gundam and Grendizer ones)ni usually spend my days humming its music, its OP and ED all the time.ni would pay loads to buy its BGM disc, but unfortunately it's never released -_-ni love the idea of each character has his own theme, whenever a one make an epic entrance or doing the signature shoot, an exciting, intense, music plays on.nThe OP song is my number 1 favorite anime song. nThe ED song, is silly in lyrics and nice to listen without caring for the meanings.n(∞ /10)nnCharacters:nThis anime is loaded and filled with close-to-heart characters, you might end up loving the entire cast. there are soooo many varied characters, each character has his/her unique interesting characteristics and each has some interests to look on.nArashi, Ricki , and many others are so cool to see everyday.nDid i say that this anime has one of best characters designs ever ?n10/10nnEnjoyment:nYes, i enjoyed it totally. the Dodgeball matches, the fast-paceness, the Voice Acting (Arabic) , the music with each character, the character developments, story progresses, and everything in this one i enjoyed it deeply. i still watch it to this day, everyday picking few episodes to rewatch and no boredom yet recorded.n(10/10)nndrawbacks:nonly the first few episodes, where it was just showing Danpei getting into the Dodgeball sport. they feel like more childish and silly. might turn off some viewers quickly tho.nand the last episode, felt extremely rushed , a bit of disappointment to me.nbut it's because the manga wasn't catched up to the anime, the manga ended 2-3 years after the anime, making it have the complete the story instead.nnThank you for time reading my humble review :) .
