Synopsis:

The boys' soft tennis club is on the verge of dissolution, struggling with dwindling membership and a history of defeat. Touma Shinjou, determined to revitalize the team, seeks new recruits but faces consistent setbacks until the arrival of Maki Katsuragi. Maki’s exceptional reflexes, demonstrated during an impromptu rescue, immediately draw Touma's attention. He secures Maki's reluctant participation through a financial agreement, sparking a dynamic within the club.

Maki’s rapid progress and natural aptitude challenge the existing team, prompting internal friction while simultaneously inspiring them to re-engage with the sport. The series explores themes of personal growth, ambition, and the complexities of middle school life as the characters confront their individual struggles alongside their shared pursuit of improving at soft tennis.
