Synopsis:
In a quiet life centered around kendo and everyday friendships, Shuuzou Matsutani's routine is irrevocably altered by an encounter with Lala-Ru. This enigmatic girl, with her detached demeanor and unusual pendant, draws Shu into a world far removed from his own. Their burgeoning connection is shattered when they are targeted by unknown forces seeking to capture Lala-Ru.
Transported to a desolate, desert landscape, Shu finds himself thrust into a brutal reality where water is a precious resource and Lala-Ru’s ability to manipulate it makes her a target. As he fights to protect her, Shu faces hardship and betrayal, becoming entangled in a conflict he barely understands. The narrative explores themes of resilience, loyalty, and the strength found in unexpected bonds within a harsh and unforgiving environment. The story centers on Shu's unwavering determination to safeguard Lala-Ru, even amidst unimaginable adversity.
