    Synopsis:

    Project D finds itself at a pivotal juncture, having successfully navigated regional races in Tochigi, Saitama, and Ibaraki prefectures. Now, Ryousuke Takahashi’s amateur street racing collective must confront the formidable reputation of Kanagawa, widely regarded as the epicenter of underground racing. Facing off against Kanagawa's top three teams, Project D encounters a meticulously crafted defensive strategy known as the "Four Lines of Defense," designed to decisively end their burgeoning success.

    Takumi Fujiwara grapples with the need for further refinement, haunted by a narrow victory and determined to elevate his skills beyond mere survival. The stakes are high; the hopes of Gunma Prefecture rest on Project D’s ability to outmaneuver Kanagawa's experienced racers. The series explores themes of skill, ambition, and the pursuit of mastery within a competitive, close-quarters environment.
