    Synopsis:

    Set against a backdrop of historical resonance, this series follows Tomona, whose life is irrevocably altered by a fateful dive into the waters of Dan-no-ura. Losing his sight and father, he finds an unexpected path as a biwa player, adopting the name Tomoichi to join a traveling storytelling troupe. There, he encounters Inu-Ou, a performer ostracized for his appearance, who possesses a unique ability to hear the voices of spirits linked to the Heike clan’s downfall.

    Bound by a shared sense of marginalization and artistic vision, they collaborate on performances that blend music and storytelling. Their growing popularity challenges the established social order and the shogunate's rigid adherence to tradition. The narrative explores themes of identity, acceptance, and the power of art to disrupt societal norms within a richly detailed historical setting.
