Synopsis:
On her fifteenth birthday, Kagome Higurashi is transported through time to feudal Japan via her family shrine's well. This journey thrusts her into a world teeming with demons, drawn to the powerful Shikon Jewel she unknowingly possesses. She quickly encounters Inuyasha, a half-demon burdened by a past connection to the era and harboring prejudice towards her.
Despite initial animosity stemming from a mistaken identity, Kagome and Inuyasha forge an uneasy alliance. Their shared goal becomes the recovery of the shattered Shikon Jewel, now scattered across the land. The series follows their perilous quest through historical landscapes, navigating treacherous terrain and confronting formidable adversaries as they race against time to prevent the fragments from unleashing widespread chaos. The narrative explores themes of destiny, prejudice, and the complexities of bridging divides in a world steeped in ancient conflict.
