There, Yuuta navigates the challenges of mastering his abilities alongside fellow first-year students: the stoic Toge Inumaki, the skilled Maki Zenin, and the enigmatic Panda. As they undertake missions, the destructive potential of Rika’s power attracts the attention of Suguru Getou, a formidable curse user with a radical vision for the world. Yuuta and his companions must confront Getou's genocidal ambitions, learning to control their powers and find purpose amidst extraordinary circumstances. The narrative explores themes of trauma, responsibility, and the complexities of wielding immense power in a world teetering on the brink.
