Synopsis:
Two junior high school students unexpectedly find themselves transported back in time to 1935 Europe while visiting Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. They encounter the young Dr. Marcel Junod, a delegate for the International Committee of the Red Cross, embarking on a mission to Ethiopia. The narrative follows their journey alongside Dr. Junod as he witnesses and responds to the escalating horrors of war in Ethiopia, Spain, and across the European battlefields of World War II.
The story explores themes of humanitarianism and resilience through Dr. Junod's tireless efforts to aid prisoners of war, facilitate communication with families, and deliver essential relief supplies.
