    Synopsis:

    The anime follows the Eto Rangers, a team of anthropomorphic animal heroes embodying the twelve Chinese zodiac animals, as they journey through the Novel Worlds. These realms, born from human stories – myths, legends, and contemporary narratives alike – are essential for maintaining balance in the human world. The story centers on Princess Aura, who governs the floating island continent of Mugen, and her struggle against Nyanma (Chocolat), a vengeful spirit ostracized from the original protectors.

    Nyanma corrupts these living stories with monstrous entities, twisting familiar narratives into distorted parodies. The Rangers utilize the Kirinda, a space-time transmitting machine, to intervene, often immersing themselves within the affected tales to uncover the source of the disruption. By employing the Genmakyou mirror and culminating in a purification ritual with Kirinda’s beam weapon, they restore order and protect the integrity of these imaginative worlds. The series explores themes of destiny, exclusion, and the power of narrative itself.
