Synopsis:
The story follows Shintarou Kisaragi, a young man who has spent the last two years isolated within his home, a life largely disconnected from the physical world. His routine is disrupted by Ene, a peculiar artificial intelligence who materialized on his computer screen after a cryptic message. When Ene’s digital explorations extend to Shintarou’s personal computer, he's unexpectedly compelled to venture outside for the first time in years. This journey marks a tentative step into a world he’s left behind, forcing him to confront not only the realities of human interaction but also the nature of connection itself. The series explores themes of isolation, digital identity, and the blurred lines between reality and virtual existence, presented with a contemplative atmosphere and focus on character development.
