Synopsis:

In a world where humanity exists under the oppressive rule of monstrous beings, a young woman named Nagi navigates a precarious existence. She is tasked with delivering vital supplies to a hidden human settlement, forced to interact with the monstrous hierarchy that governs their lives. The series explores themes of survival, duty, and the blurred lines between predator and prey in a richly detailed, fantastical setting.

Nagi’s journey is fraught with moral ambiguity as she witnesses both cruelty and unexpected compassion from the creatures around her. The anime presents a contemplative atmosphere, prompting reflection on power dynamics and the cost of maintaining fragile peace. It avoids simplistic narratives, instead focusing on the complex relationships formed within a society built upon an uneasy foundation. Viewers can expect a nuanced portrayal of conflict and resilience in a world far removed from conventional notions of heroism.

It's basically like the anime. DO NOT READ THIS IF YOU HAVE NOT WATCHED THE PARENT STORY!!! It's got a good story, art, ending. It has a nice plot line and art like the parent story (which is very good). The ending is really good, and it has those cliff hangers. If you like the original story, this is pretty much another episode. Most people actually mistake it for an episode too... Anyway... It is good... I'd say -1 for plot because it wasn't very developed and -1 for the sound. In this I particularly didn't like some of the music.
