Synopsis:

Beneath the unassuming facade of a local convenience store lies a clandestine world. Reinya, seemingly an ordinary clerk, leads a double life as the Phantom Thief Reinya, orchestrating daring heists targeting golden artifacts. Operating from a hidden base beneath her workplace with her loyal assistant Chūtarō, she navigates a complex dynamic with the local police force. Their adversaries include Inspector Kurosawa, hampered by personal failings; Officer Akari, whose absentmindedness often complicates investigations; and Detective Sato, whose intense admiration for Reinya frequently interferes with his duty. The series explores themes of identity, ambition, and the blurred lines between right and wrong within a quirky, slice-of-life setting centered around everyday routines interwoven with high-stakes thievery. It presents a unique blend of lighthearted antics and surprisingly intricate planning.

Rate a 3 English Subtitled Story Most anime i know of are long in duration per episode. Trying to bide the time for some can be quite a struggle. Although, anime with short episode duration like this doesn't gain my respect for lack of creativity. A few minutes per episode and the best the creators can do is run the same old gags? At least one member of the staff probably the writer realized just how played out the jokes were that one of them was made a temporary character in one of the later episodes. As for the conclusion to the show i am not sure what standpoint to be on. I am in a corner of bewilderment, slightly comical and anger. Final episode wasn't how you would expect to start out with let alone end with. As for the episode's logic to explain this could use some more work.nnOverall: Yes, show does provide a laugh or two but it is the same old gag with the same general ending. It is a good thing the mouse character was included for without him i would say the show would not only lose the comical value but attention as well. Also, you may have heard about the ecchi component this show makes reference to every now and then per episode. Sadly, that is nothing to be a 'fan' (inside joke) of. Reason being not is it tame but doesn't deepen aside from one future punch line. In all honesty one would be better watching Kim possible. Sure the point of views are different. For here it is based mainly on the vilian's but at least the characters in Kim Possible have more depth as well as BRAINS. I can understand a clueless character or moments. But a character that needs a child to spot a simple thing out that is not only visually there on a large scale but based semi recently ago with a simple fix is beyond me. A lot of will power was needed at that moment for that episode not to scream at the television for how long and painful this character made the moment. Makes me wonder how he even got the position as chi__ (removed for spoiler). Was all the other candidates lazy or no shows?
