Synopsis:
In the late 1990s, a string of suicides captivates Japan, linked by a singular, unsettling detail: each victim chose the Fujou building for their final act. The circumstances are peculiar, hinting at something beyond ordinary tragedy. Shiki Ryougi, an enigmatic young woman with her own unusual abilities, becomes drawn into the investigation. Partnering with Touko Aozaki, a detective who utilizes ritual magic, and her assistant Mikiya Kokotou, Shiki navigates a hidden world of supernatural occurrences. The series explores themes of loss, identity, and the blurred lines between the physical and spiritual realms as they delve deeper into the cause of these unsettling deaths and the secrets held within the abandoned Fujou building. It presents a thoughtful examination of grief and the potential for unseen forces to influence human despair.
