Synopsis:
In the summer of 1998, a horrific assault leaves a young woman deeply detached, seemingly unaffected by unimaginable trauma. The following day, a gruesome discovery transforms the event into something far more unsettling. A perpetrator emerges whose actions defy conventional understanding, leaving victims utterly annihilated.
This series follows Shiki Ryougi, a skilled investigator tasked with locating and neutralizing this extraordinary threat. The investigation quickly escalates as the killer's relentless pursuit of a single survivor reveals a disturbing and almost supernatural level of brutality. Shiki must confront an adversary whose nature is fundamentally alien, pushing her abilities and perceptions to their limits in a desperate attempt to prevent further devastation. The narrative explores themes of trauma, identity, and the blurred lines between humanity and something else entirely.
