Synopsis:
Set in a secluded region of feudal Japan, the narrative follows Rangiku Ayawatari, a young woman burdened by a weighty past. As the last of the Ayuwatari clan, she embarks on a solitary quest for retribution against Lord Sadayoshi Karimata, responsible for her family's demise and the theft of her father's unique puppet artistry. Her search leads her not to a legendary warrior, but to Yasaburou Manajiri, an enigmatic wanderer hunted by formidable, seemingly immortal ninjas. An unlikely alliance forms as Rangiku and Yasaburou discover their shared opposition to Karimata and the unsettling power concealed within his creations.
