Synopsis:

In a world where the realms of humans and youkai subtly intertwine, a fragile equilibrium has long been maintained by Yurine and her Karas servant. The delicate balance is threatened when an aging Karas, disillusioned by humanity's growing disregard for the hidden world, abandons his duties and initiates a conflict through an army of mechanized demons called Mikura.

Otoha, unexpectedly inheriting the powers of a Karas, finds himself drawn into this escalating conflict alongside Yurine, tasked with reclaiming the lost harmony. Their journey is shadowed by the investigation of Sagisaka, a police officer grappling with superstition, and his pragmatic new partner, Kure, as they track the destructive path of the Mikura and a particularly elusive rogue unit. As the story progresses, long-held prophecies begin to unravel, hinting at a profound truth about the city's hidden history and the nature of coexistence between worlds. The series explores themes of responsibility, forgotten legacies, and the consequences of unchecked arrogance.
