Kemono no Souja Erin

Set in the kingdom of Ryoza, long maintained by a fragile alliance between the provinces of Shin-Ou and Tai-Kou, the story follows Erin, a young woman from a village dedicated to training the formidable war-lizards known as Touda. Her peaceful life is shattered when a critical failure involving a powerful Touda leads to her mother’s severe punishment and Erin's unintended journey across the border to Shin-Ou.

Stranded in unfamiliar territory, Erin navigates a complex social landscape while investigating the circumstances surrounding the Touda incident. The narrative explores themes of loyalty, prejudice, and the blurred lines between humanity and the creatures integral to Ryoza’s power structure. As regional tensions rise toward potential conflict, Erin's quest for truth places her at the center of a growing political and cultural divide, forcing her to confront uncomfortable realities about both the people she's met and the beasts that define their world.
