Synopsis:
The narrative follows Guts, a solitary mercenary known for his formidable greatsword, as his path unexpectedly intersects with the Band of the Falcon, a powerful military force led by Griffith. Following a decisive battle where Guts demonstrates exceptional skill, Griffith challenges him to a duel, resulting in a surprising defeat and Guts' subsequent recruitment into the Band.
Over the next three years, Guts rises through the ranks, becoming a key commander recognized for his unparalleled combat abilities. The Band of the Falcon achieves widespread dominance through their combined strength. However, this period of success is shadowed by an unsettling presence that hints at a looming conflict poised to irrevocably alter Guts’ destiny and challenge the foundations of his newfound allegiance. The story explores themes of ambition, loyalty, and the cost of power within a militaristic society.
