Synopsis:
Set on Mercury, where advanced cybernetic enhancements have spurred the development of colossal piloted machines, the series explores the complex relationship between technological advancement and human cost. Prolonged use of these bio-engineered systems presents a significant physical burden for pilots, creating a growing unease among Earth’s population as Merucian mobile suits become increasingly powerful.
The story centers on Elnora Samaya, a pilot undergoing trials with the cutting-edge Gundam Lfrith under the supervision of its creator, Cardo Nabo. A seemingly innocent visit from Elnora's daughter, Ericht, disrupts the carefully controlled environment. Ericht’s unexpected connection to the mecha triggers unforeseen consequences, forcing characters to confront the ethical implications of their technology and the fragile balance between humanity and its creations within a world teetering on the edge of conflict. The anime examines themes of responsibility, familial bonds, and the potential dangers inherent in unchecked progress.
