Synopsis:

In the aftermath of the Universal Century Charter incident, a specialized investigation team is dispatched to the detached Axis, a massive structure adrift beyond Earth's sphere. Among them are Arlette Almage and Danton Hyleg, two individuals with complex histories intertwined with both the Earth Federation and the remnants of Zeon. Recruited for their expertise as an engineer and test pilot, respectively, they find themselves unexpectedly thrust into a dangerous situation upon infiltrating the Axis.
