Synopsis:

Set in the 16th century of the Universal Century, the anime depicts a colonized space environment dominated by the Zanscare Empire. This regime exerts oppressive control over Side 2, employing brutal tactics and public executions to maintain order. The narrative follows Üso Ewin, a recent immigrant to Central Europe who joins the League Militaire, a civilian militia resisting the Empire's authority.

Üso discovers latent Newtype abilities that enable him to pilot the Victory Gundam, a mobile suit crucial to challenging Zanscare's forces. Driven by a desire to safeguard his friend and uncover information about his family within the Earth Federation, Üso engages in conflict with the Empire. The series explores themes of resistance, societal injustice, and the emergence of potential within individuals facing overwhelming adversity, all within a backdrop of technological warfare and political upheaval.
