Synopsis:
In a world subtly altered by a silent invasion, humanity grapples with a parasitic entity that infiltrates minds, reshaping its hosts into predatory forms. Sixteen-year-old Shinichi Izumi becomes unexpectedly entangled when one of these creatures takes root not in his mind, but within his right hand. This unusual symbiosis forces an unlikely partnership as Shinichi and the parasite, whom he names Migi, navigate a reality where survival hinges on concealed existence.
The series explores themes of identity, dependence, and the blurred lines between host and parasite. Set against a backdrop of growing paranoia and unseen threats, it depicts their struggle to maintain normalcy while evading those who would see them both destroyed – both by the alien invaders and by the parasites vying for control within Shinichi himself. The narrative unfolds as a character-driven story focused on adaptation and finding strength in an unconventional bond.
