Synopsis:
Natsume Kiroemon returns to Japan, inheriting a legacy of both privilege and peril. Formerly a monk honing his skills, Natsume now wields the Kiryuu no Mimi, an artifact granting influence over wealth and social standing. His pursuit of a relationship with Kanako, a member of the powerful Mina family, quickly spirals into conflict when she is abducted amidst escalating hostilities. Driven by love and fueled by the Kiryuu’s amplified power, Natsume confronts the Mina family, initiating a series of clashes steeped in tradition and rivalry. The narrative explores themes of ambition, familial obligation, and the consequences of pursuing desires within a world governed by established power structures. The anime depicts a blend of action and interpersonal drama against a backdrop of historical Japanese influences.
