Synopsis:

Ibuki Keita lives under a persistent shadow of tragedy, marked by the unexplained deaths of those around him. This isolation has led him to avoid close relationships, leaving him adrift in a solitary existence. His routine is disrupted when he encounters Kuro, a girl who claims to be a guardian of a hidden world governed by a force called Terra. She reveals the existence of the Doppeliner System and the Coexistence Equilibrium, entities tasked with maintaining balance. Initially skeptical, Keita is drawn into this clandestine reality after a near-fatal encounter. Driven by desperation, he forms an unforeseen bond with Kuro through a binding contract, thrusting him into a world where his inherent misfortune may be amplified beyond imagining. The series explores themes of fate, connection, and the burden of responsibility within a surreal backdrop.
