Synopsis:
Following a devastating plane crash, a group of high school students find themselves marooned on an isolated island. Oribe Mutsumi, possessing an unexpected expertise in the natural world, quickly takes charge, attempting to maintain hope and order amongst the survivors. Their initial optimism, however, is shattered by the island's hidden danger: colossal, predatory insects. As days pass, Mutsumi must leverage her deep understanding of insect behavior – from butterflies to wasps – to protect her classmates from imminent threats. The narrative explores themes of resilience, resourcefulness, and the unexpected ways knowledge can be applied in extraordinary circumstances. It’s a story centered on survival within a unique and unsettling ecosystem, where the smallest creatures hold the key to life and death.
