Synopsis:

In a world where virtual reality has promised unparalleled immersion, the VRMMO "Kiwame Quest" initially captivated players with its unprecedented depth and realism. However, its very perfection proved to be a double-edged sword, contributing to a decline in the popularity of immersive gaming. Years later, Hiroshi Yuuki seeks refuge from his own anxieties within these virtual worlds. He encounters Reona Kisaragi, a game shop attendant who encourages him to try "Kiwame Quest."

Upon entering the game, Hiroshi is immediately struck by its lifelike environment and intricate detail, but soon discovers that this realism comes with unforeseen consequences. A series of escalating challenges force him to confront the game's unforgiving nature. Despite his growing frustration, Hiroshi remains determined to navigate its complexities, driven by a singular resolve: to overcome "Kiwame Quest" and find a way forward. The series explores themes of escapism, consequence, and the blurred lines between reality and simulation.
