Synopsis:

The series unfolds in a secluded, almost dreamlike community nestled within a vast, ancient forest. It centers on a young woman grappling with fragmented memories and a sense of displacement as she navigates unfamiliar social customs and enigmatic rituals. The narrative explores themes of identity formation and belonging, contrasting the beauty of the natural world with underlying tensions within the close-knit society. Relationships are delicately portrayed, marked by unspoken expectations and subtle power dynamics. A pervasive atmosphere of quiet contemplation prevails, inviting viewers to piece together the mysteries surrounding the community’s origins and the protagonist's role in its future. The anime favors atmosphere and character study over straightforward plot progression, offering a meditative experience that lingers long after viewing.

This video paired up with the song, shows us the painful and the happy, and how we react differently to things, where something simple can make us very sad/happy, and how we enjoyment of the little things is the only thing left to us in this cruel world. The arc is about a hero who has a responsibility to be a showcase of virtue and strength and how, not backing down from challenges and being affected by the negativity, despite however they want to stop and return to a normal life. The story in the video is illustrative of the overarching idea, however many times it doesntreflect what the song is singing.nnThe art is very nice, when it comes to animated music videos I always enjoy the simple ways of showing the emotions, and in this case it hits the spot like a beer on friday evening.nnSound - Minami has been, for a long time one of the singers I could always just listen to for hours on end. In this way I am obviously biased in thinking that this is in the top 0.1 percent of all music Ive heard in my life.nnCharacter- the artstyle+music style have a lot of character to them, that is specific for minamis song/style. This is what creates the awesomness for which I continue coming back again and again.nnEnjoyment - I thouroughly enjoy minamis music, and this is the highest reason for me liking this, much more so than the video, even though I like that as well, I think I have only watched the whole thing like 6 times. While listening to the song itself closer to the 50 mark.
