Synopsis:
At Luna Nova Magical Academy, a trio of young witches – Akko, Lotte, and Sucy – find themselves on the precipice of expulsion after repeated academic missteps. Their only chance for redemption lies in orchestrating the academy’s annual parade through a local town. However, this year’s event carries a hidden weight: the parade’s tradition is rooted in the historical subjugation of witches, intended to humiliate and remind the public of their past.
Akko, driven by a desire to redefine perceptions, proposes a radical transformation of the parade into a celebration of modern witchcraft. This ambitious undertaking challenges her peers and draws unwanted attention from various forces – playful rivals and ancient beings alike. The series explores themes of prejudice, self-acceptance, and the power of challenging established narratives, as the students navigate magical mishaps and personal growth in their quest to reshape public opinion and prove the value of a changing magical world.
