Synopsis:
Years after the conclusion of the Selector conflicts, an unsettling calm settles over society. Kiyoi Mizushima, however, remains convinced the underlying issues have not been resolved. The defeat of Kou Satomi has not extinguished his influence; his followers quietly work to resurrect his ambitions. When the Selector battles unexpectedly return, accompanied by a new system involving unlockable power cards purchased with currency, Mizushima's fears are realized. Determined to dismantle the cyclical nature of conflict, she embarks on a quest to gather capable companions. The narrative explores themes of political manipulation, hidden agendas, and the enduring consequences of past struggles, all set against a backdrop of renewed societal tension and emerging threats.
