Synopsis:

Aqours, a group of high school students, strive for recognition as school idols, aiming to revitalize their struggling institution. Following a modest boost in student interest from a recent performance, they set their sights on upcoming events like the school open house and a national competition. The girls are driven by a desire to elevate their school's profile and secure its future through dedicated performances.

However, their efforts face a significant obstacle: the impending closure of Uranohoshi Girls' High School, a decision seemingly irreversible despite Mari Ohara’s passionate appeals. With recruitment halted, Aqours finds themselves battling against overwhelming circumstances. The series explores themes of perseverance, community, and the power of collective effort as the members dedicate themselves to a final, hopeful push for their school's survival through music and performance.
