Synopsis:
Set against a backdrop of escalating conflict between U.N. Spacy and independent forces in the years preceding the Zentraedi invasion, Macross Zero follows the experiences of Shin Kudo. Following a crash landing on the isolated island of Mayan, Shin seeks refuge from the ongoing war. Mayan’s quiet existence is disrupted when a skirmish erupts involving the U.N.’s experimental VF-0 fighter.
