Synopsis:
The narrative follows Nanachi, a creature burdened by past sorrow, as she accompanies Riko and Reg into the perilous Abyss, a vast and mysterious chasm. Their destination is the Sea of Corpses, the Abyss’s deepest and most treacherous layer, notoriously difficult to navigate. Their progress is repeatedly blocked by Bondrewd, a detached scientist whose laboratory serves as a gatekeeper to further exploration.
Nanachi grapples with unresolved trauma linked to Bondrewd's past influence on her life. The group finds an unexpected ally in Prushka, a spirited young girl who claims a connection to Bondrewd. Bound by shared hardship, they forge an alliance to confront Bondrewd’s manipulations and ultimately attempt passage to the Abyss’s sixth layer, confronting themes of loss, manipulation, and the complexities of familial bonds within a hostile environment. The series emphasizes psychological tension alongside the dangers of their journey.
