    Synopsis:

    Years after enduring the trials of Idofront, Riko finds herself granted access to the Abyss's sixth layer: The Capital of the Unreturned. Accompanied by Reg and Nanachi, she embarks on an exploration into this previously uncharted territory, seeking the ruins of a legendary Golden City. The expedition plunges them into a desolate landscape teeming with unsettling creatures and hazardous environments. Their journey leads to a secluded village populated by enigmatic beings called "hollows," fostering an atmosphere of growing apprehension. Driven by curiosity and a desire to understand the past, Riko and her companions delve deeper, uncovering fragments of history left behind by those who dared to explore the Abyss before them. The series explores themes of survival, forgotten histories, and the lingering consequences of ambition in a world defined by peril.
