    Synopsis:

    Three years after a devastating invasion by the Disas, humanity’s survival rests on a group of individuals empowered by a connection to the Spirit Realm. The "Magical Five," initially victorious in their conflict against the interdimensional beings, now find themselves adrift as the team dissolves. Each member pursues a path independent of the others—military service, and for Asuka Ootorii, a return to ordinary life as a high school student.

    This fragile peace is shattered by evidence of surviving Disa forces, forcing Asuka's hand. The anime explores themes of responsibility, the lingering trauma of war, and the difficult choices faced when confronted with renewed threats. It depicts a world grappling with the aftermath of unimaginable destruction, where the lines between humanity and the supernatural are irrevocably blurred and the necessity of wielding power comes with a heavy cost.
