Majo no Takkyuubin

At thirteen, Kiki embarks on a solitary journey to Koriko, a coastal town chosen for its role in her magical apprenticeship. Separated from her family and familiar surroundings, she navigates the challenges of self-reliance as she attempts to hone her witchcraft under strict conditions. Initially adrift and seeking purpose, Kiki finds an unexpected connection with Osono, a baker who offers her a place to stay. This leads to the establishment of a unique delivery service, propelling Kiki toward independence while grappling with the responsibilities that come with it. The series explores themes of self-discovery, belonging, and the delicate balance between personal freedom and societal expectations within a world where magic is interwoven with everyday life. It presents a contemplative look at growing up and forging one's identity through practical experience.
