That was a... bizarre experience to say the least. At the time of writing this, there isn't any description on MAL of what this show is, so I guess I'll give a brief synopsis for this review. A girl named Jasmine gets struck by lightning and wakes up isekai'd to a world of beast men. She immediately gets accidentally engaged to the first person she meets, and it turns out, get this, she's the chosen one. On paper that sounds like a really simple formula for an isekai, but then you remember that this isn't a Japanese show. It's Chinese. Having only watched a couple other Chineseshows before, it's a pretty jarring cultural shift.nnThe show wanders in tone wildly and doesn't stay on one topic for very long. It ends on a cliffhanger so it's obvious this isn't the whole story they were trying to tell. I guess it'll be interesting to see where it goes in the future, but on it's own this series was just... weird. It had a few charming moments, though so 6/10

Very very chill. Wholesome vibes. Good comedy. Tone mostly lighthearted w/ 4th wall breaks so it kind of feels like a parody, gets slightly darker occasionally and towards the end (this style of tone shift is probably common in chinese media). Was never bored watching. The pacing is really good. Episodes are too short. The chibi artstyle could be off-putting to some people Subs could be bad. Be careful. Overall a good watch. It's a slapstick comedy that gets serious at times personally it's an 8 cause i enjoyed it, but critically I'll give it an overall 7 cuz it's mostly not much more than a comedy (except for theending bit of the last episode)
