Synopsis:
Fifteen years into a protracted conflict between humanity and demons, a lone hero deviates from his comrades, driven by a desire to swiftly conclude the war. His journey culminates at the Demon Queen’s castle, where he encounters an unexpected proposition. The Queen, a figure of striking presence, requests an alliance, a notion that deeply troubles the hero who views the ongoing conflict as a destructive force plaguing the Southern Nations.
Her argument challenges his perspective, highlighting the war's unintended economic benefits for humanity and the devastating consequences of its cessation – widespread famine in the South. She proposes a path to end the war, offering hope to both sides, but requires the hero’s cooperation. Ultimately persuaded, the hero joins forces with the Demon Queen, embarking on a shared mission to bring about peace and stability, venturing into the human world with a commitment to mutual support. The series explores themes of war's consequences, challenging alliances, and the complexities of finding lasting resolution.
