The work centers around a visually rich and subtly melancholic exploration of identity and connection within an aquatic-inspired world. The narrative unfolds through evocative imagery and gentle character interactions, highlighting themes of self-discovery and belonging. Instead of grand conflicts, the story emphasizes quiet moments and personal reflection as Marin navigates her place within a community shaped by both natural beauty and underlying complexities. Lessee... Neon bridge to a nighttime skyline? Check. Full moon in the sky? Check. Giant jellyfish in the sky? Uhhhh....check? Computer generated generic-looking anime character jumping around on the screen? Check. Computer generated flat-sounding singing auto-tuned to hell and back? Check! What can I say? It is yet another in a long (and growing) list of non-flesh-and-blood idol singers, this time featuring one of the main characters from the anime series Umi Monogatari. To me, it's just another upbeat pop song (that sounds like all the others), and a slightly stiff-moving characterbouncing and singing with annoying autotune. My verdict: We could do with less of these. -

TL:DR A music video that you should probably not watch, but the song is quite good. Ok, on to the real review. It's quite a bad music video that I have no real idea why it exists. It would be better as just a song, which it redeems itself with. Literally everything about the music video is terrible. Anime characters as big as a bridge? Ok? Random dance moves, Check. It's just not a great thing to watch. Very cringe worthy. But the song is one of my favourites to date. All I an say that just listen to the song instead of watching the video. The video ruinseverything. I can't stress enough about it.nnThe only reason I gave a 3 for art was that the animation quality wasn't that bad.
