    Synopsis:

    Following her father's passing, Momo Miyaura relocates from bustling Tokyo to a secluded island in the Seto Inland Sea with her mother. The island’s quiet, aged atmosphere contrasts sharply with Momo's grief and the cryptic message left by her father: "Dear Momo." Navigating unfamiliar traditions and a close-knit community, Momo discovers an old picture book detailing *youkai*, spirits of Japanese folklore. This discovery triggers unusual occurrences within the town and the arrival of three spirited youkai characters who seem intent on disrupting her newfound life. The narrative explores themes of loss, belonging, and the search for connection as Momo attempts to understand both her father’s past and the island's hidden history through these otherworldly encounters. The series depicts a gentle, character-driven exploration of coming-of-age within a world where the mundane and mythical intertwine.
