Synopsis:
The series follows Momoko, a young woman navigating the challenges of attending a specialized school while grappling with both mental and physical disabilities. Her daily routine is shaped by the comforting ritual of her family singing a specific melody, a source of solace against frustration stemming from her inability to attend mainstream schooling alongside her twin brother, Riki. A pivotal incident during an open classroom day triggers a shift in their dynamic, ultimately leading to Momoko's enrollment in Riki’s school through a new integrated education program. However, her health deteriorates, requiring hospitalization. Inspired by the desire to share good news with Momoko, Riki and his classmates organize a relay race, facing obstacles including the reluctant participation of the school’s fastest runner. The narrative explores themes of acceptance, community support, and the complexities of navigating differing abilities within an educational environment.
