Synopsis:
Set against the backdrop of EXPO 2004 Aichi, Japan, this series follows Morizo and Kikkoro, forest fairies tasked with reminding humanity of nature's inherent strength and beauty. Residing within the ancient Kasho Forest, these beings offer a unique perspective on the natural world. Morizo, an elder with millennia of accumulated wisdom, guides the inquisitive Kikkoro through the wonders of their surroundings. The narrative unfolds as a gentle exploration of the forest's ecosystem, observed through the eyes of a curious child and a seasoned guardian. Expect a contemplative atmosphere, focusing on observation and connection with nature rather than high-stakes action. The series invites viewers to rediscover the subtle magic present in everyday natural phenomena and consider humanity’s place within the larger world.
